Back when I first visited the Eye of the North I was tasked with locating allies for the upcoming battle against the destroyers. In order to gain the Ebon Vanguard’s help, I first have to locate their missing unit. So after helping the norn and gaining their trust, I headed east to the Charr Homelands.

Due to the circumstances leading me here, It was easy to gain the help of two Ascalonian elementalists to explore Grothmar Wardowns with me. According to them, this is what Ascalon looked like before the Searing. I’ve already been through here once briefly to investigate the missing Ebon Vanguards. Now I’ll be fully exploring this area along with my friends Elwin and Elena.

Word traveled that there was trouble at the raven shrine in the depths of Tyria. I spoke with Olrun Olafdottir who confirmed the rumors. She told us that Captain Sargen and his dwarven unit who entered the shrine soon encountered destroyers. Xapp, their hired asuran engineer, had fled to seek aid. That was more than enough information to catch my attention, so Malory and I picked up Xapp, who was cowering by the entrance, and entered Raven’s Point.

Lei Jeng hasn’t had many tasks for me to do. This lastest one was to escort a courier to Kaineng City. It turned out to be Courier Falken, and he had a letter from Queen Salma to Emperor Kisu. Had I known who it was, I would have delivered the letter myself. Just as I entered Bukdek Byway, Falken rushed off ahead in the wrong direction. You’d think he would take advice from someone that grew up here, but no. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he demanded I wear special knuckles in case we get into a fight along the way. I think getting into a fight was his plan all a long.
