After the Festival of Lyss, I couldn’t wait to get back into the Garden of Seborhin. I had such a fun time meeting the princes and partying with nobles. It was fantastic up until the point the skree harpies crashed the party! Normally entry back into the garden is blocked, but our friend (and Prince Mehtu’s daughter) Tahlkora can go in whenever she likes. So as long as she is with us, the guards won’t kick us out. My old friends Rajas and Elwin were delighted to hear about this and were eager to see the sights along side me.

When we walked through the guarded gates in the Forum Highlands, we noticed quite a bit of djinn around. There are also large groups of vicious plants and big beetles, but they are not as annoying to deal with as the djinn are. I recommend taking out the ruby djinn, and then eliminating the roaring ethers before moving onto the diamond and sapphire djinns.

Untamed wilderness surrounds the Garden of Seborhin’s main area.

I am always delighted to see a waterfall when I go out exploring. Even though Elona has many of these, it still brings me joy. I’ve also heard rumors that such waters contain magical properties. You’d have to be pretty gullible to believe (and pay for) something like that. Nevertheless, I filled one of my empty waterskin with it, because I value its thirst quenching properties. *laughs*

Finally, we moved onto the area Vabbian’s have worked so hard to beautify.

What is the use of keeping a flying carpet if it just hovers over the ground a bit? I tried sitting on it and shouting commands but I couldn’t get it to budge. Rajas and Elwin studied it for a while, but couldn’t figure out how to get it started either.

I can’t imagine how many gardeners or hedge wizards are employed here. Everything is pruned perfectly, not a single plant looked like it was going to wilt. I laughed at the idea that, if Vabbi went to war, they would have a unit of angry gardeners armed with large hedge clippers.

I spotted several doors that seemingly lead into nowhere. Vabbi is full of magic, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it had some sort of magic key or odd way to get in.

According to a noble I spoke with during the Festival of Lyss, the magical Seborhin trees that float and spin in the air were created by Lyssa herself. It is no wonder that all Vabbians revere her so much. Such a gift from the gods is quite the honor!

We all just sat on the stairs and took in the sights for a while. It is hard to believe that someone like Varesh could wish total destruction onto the world! She must have been corrupted by Abaddon to hate the beauty of this world so much.

Rajas, Elwin and I found a platform high above the garden and looked out down below us. This was a very relaxing day, I hope that when the war is over I can come back here anytime.
