I started exploring Anvil Rock from the Ice Tooth Cave outpost. My first task was to find the legendary anvil structure for which this area is named, and secondly to look around for anything else interesting.
The map I have been using on my travels directed me to this point. It is a great spot from which to look around the area, but to see the features of the anvil I will need to look at it from the bottom of this peak.

Just a short walk around the top of the anvil and down to ground level, I got a good look at this holy site.
According to the Dwarves, their god the Great Dwarf created a giant forge here long ago. Before the Dwarves were at war with each other, they gathered at the base of this anvil to worship their god.

I stopped to check out this small Dwarven settlement when suddenly I was attacked by more than twenty Dryders! It wasn’t bad enough that I had to fight them all at once, but their hexes really wear down your party.
Speaking of wearing down, this area is really starting to get to me. I’m getting sick of walking through all this snow! At least in the previous area I had something to look at, but here it’s just snow and more snow.

Just as I was preparing to leave this area, I looked up and was amazed at what I saw. It’s always good to stop and look around or you might miss something spectacular!
